Spring School

EMBC+ Spring School

The EMBC+ spring school is an annual event that unites students and teachers to collaborate on specialised research topics at an established European marine research station. The focus is on both developing scientific knowledge and on creating a beneficial integrative experience for students and teachers alike. The EMBC+ spring school for the academic year 2015-2016 will take place from the 2-12 April 2016 at the Sven Lovén Centre for Marine Sciences in Tjärnö, Sweden.

During the spring school students work in small groups conducting research on specific themes. Students gain valuable research and transferable skills, with each group preparing the following:

  • Research proposal
  • Experimental design and research
  • Data analysis
  • Report
  • Presentation
  • Documentary movie & blog
